Freeze

A freeze is a restriction you put on your own account for a while: it prohibits everything that opens up risk and leaves the exits open. No code is needed to freeze — a freeze restricts rather than unlocks. A freeze takes effect immediately.

Durations: 6, 12, 24, 48 or 72 hours. A new freeze only extends: the end is the later of the current end and "now + duration".

How to turn it on:

• app: "Security → Account freeze", the duration, "Freeze the account…";
• app: the "Freeze" button on the wrong-codes banner — it also works during a freeze, extending it;
• bot: "🔐Security → ❄️Freeze account"; the "❄️ Freeze account" buttons in the messages about a change of email or anti-phishing code, wrong codes, a withdrawal and an authenticator reset;
• email: the "Freeze account" button opens a page for choosing the duration; the freeze happens only via the button on that page; the link is single-use and valid for 72 hours;
• support.

Prohibited during a freeze:

• opening positions — quick trade "Open"; turning on entry levels; entry levels that are on are turned off;
• creating and editing bundles, restoring them from the archive, signing bundles;
• creating and testing connections;
• approving devices;
• withdrawing, transferring and paying from the balance; changing the email, the authenticator and the anti-phishing code.

Allowed:

• viewing and closing positions; exit levels keep working;
• turning off levels, stopping bundles, moving them to the archive;
• deleting connections — without a code; deletion still requires closing the positions and stopping the bundles;
• renaming connections and changing fee rates;
• ending sessions, disconnecting devices, changing the passcode and the inactivity timeout;
• signing in to the account; in the bot — paying with cryptocurrency and activating gifts and promo codes.

To fully protect your funds: close the positions, delete the connections in the app and the API keys on the exchanges themselves.

A freeze cannot be lifted early — only through support, with confirmation by all linked factors. When the freeze ends, an email and a Telegram message say so. Entry levels stay off — turn them on in the app when you are ready.

During a freeze, the app shows a banner with the time the freeze ends; unavailable buttons show the reason in a hint.
