What is Profit Cloud
Architecture
Profit Cloud is a screener of cross-exchange inefficiencies and a terminal for executing arbitrage bundles. Parts of the system:
| Part | What it does |
|---|---|
| App — the Arbitrageur terminal | interface: screener, connections, bundles, charts, trading, security |
| Trading server | exchange market data, spreads, bundles, trading sessions, journal |
| Order executor | exchange keys and all private exchange calls |
| Telegram bot | sign-in, account, subscription and balances, screener, alerts, support |
| Website | product description, knowledge base, documentation |
App
A Windows app. It stores the passcode, sessions and the device key on the device. It does not store exchange keys: a key is encrypted on the device and goes to the order executor. The app communicates with the trading server and the bot over HTTPS and WebSocket.
Server
The trading server receives market data from exchanges, measures executable spreads on the bundles' lots and stores their history, the bundles, levels and the journal — orders, fills, positions and funding. A bundle's trading session runs on the server: it executes the bundle's orders and reconciles positions with the exchange. The server has no exchange keys — only references to them; it passes orders to the executor.
Order executor
A separate server, the only one that has exchange keys. It sends orders, maintains account streams and balances, and checks bundle permissions signed by your device. There can be several executors: each exchange is assigned to one, and a connection's key is stored with the executor of its exchange (see "Security → Exchange keys").
Telegram bot
The Profit Cloud bot is the sign-in service: sign-in confirmation, the second factor, sessions, email, freeze. It also holds the account: the subscription, the commission and referral balances, reports; the screener and alerts — the bot and the app share the same data; notifications and support.
Website
The product description, the knowledge base on arbitrage and this documentation.
When the device with the app is off or asleep:
- levels of bundles that have an open trading session are executed by the server;
- screener alerts and notifications arrive in Telegram;
- a trading session will not open — neither a new one nor one closed by a server restart — until the bundle window is open in the app.
