Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy (the "Policy") explains which cookies and similar technologies the profitcloud.app website (the "Website") uses, why they are needed and how you can manage them. The Website is provided by Profit Cloud Administration (the "Administration").
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser. Your browser sends it back with every request to that website, which is how the website recognises a choice you have made. Browser storage (localStorage) works in a similar way: the website also saves data on your device, but your browser does not send it anywhere.
2. Cookies used by the Website
The Website uses only two cookies of its own.

pc-locale is needed for the Website to do what you asked for — show the language you chose — so the Website does not ask for separate consent to it. pc-ref is set only with your consent (section 4).
Whether an inviter with that UID exists and whether they will be linked to your account is decided by the Profit Cloud Telegram bot, not by the Website.
3. The inviter code without consent
An invitation link takes you to the Website's home page with the code in the address (?ref=<UID>). The Website immediately removes the code from the address bar, so that it does not end up in bookmarks or in links you share, and adds it to the page's links — "Join Profit Cloud", "Download the app" and "Download for Windows".
Until you click "Accept", the Website saves nothing on your device: the code lives only while you follow links that carry it. Close the page or follow a link without the code, and the code is forgotten.
Your browser sends cookies only to the Website. The inviter code is added to the link to the Profit Cloud Telegram bot — and reaches the bot through Telegram — only when you click "Join Profit Cloud" yourself, and to the link to the application installer when you click "Download for Windows".
4. Your choice
Until you have made a choice, a bar with the "Accept" and "Decline" buttons is shown at the bottom of the screen.
- "Accept" — the Website will remember the inviter code for 7 days in the
pc-refcookie. - "Decline" — the code is not remembered; a code remembered earlier is deleted.
Your choice is kept in your browser (section 5). You can change it at any time on this page: the "Change your choice" button shows the bar again.

6. What the Website does not use
The Website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, third-party cookies or visitor counters. The cookies and storage entries listed above are not used for advertising and do not allow you to be tracked on other websites.
If a visitor counter appears, this Policy will describe it before it is switched on; counters that store anything on your device will work only after you click "Accept".
7. Managing cookies
You can delete cookies and storage data, or prevent them from being saved, in your browser settings. The Website will keep working, but:

pc-locale, the home page will open in your browser's language rather than the one you chose; - without
pc-ref, the inviter code will not be passed to the bot if you come back to the Website other than through an invitation link; - without
pc-theme, the Website will follow your system's colour theme; - without
pc-consent, the consent bar will appear again.
8. Changes to this Policy
The Administration may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on the Website. By continuing to use the Website after an update, you accept the revised Policy.
9. Language of this Policy
The original of this Policy is in English. The Russian version is a translation provided for convenience; in the event of any discrepancy between them, the English text prevails.

How data is processed in the Telegram bot, the application and on the Profit Cloud servers is described in the Privacy Policy.
