Connections

Connection

A connection is a record that links one exchange to one API key for that exchange. The key itself is stored only by the order executor; the app and the server hold a reference to it. Connections are created, edited and deleted in the "Connections" section of the app.

Exchange and account

Field What it is
"Exchange" an exchange the terminal trades on; chosen at creation and cannot be changed
"Name" the connection's name; visible only to you — in the connections list and in bundles; required, may be repeated
"Connection №" a number assigned by the server: sequential for each exchange — 01, 02, …; numbers of deleted connections are not issued again
"Fees" optional: your taker rate on perpetual contracts and on spot, in percent; empty — the exchange's rate

One exchange can have several connections, one per key.

The connections list has the columns "Name", "Exchange", "Connection №", "Taker perp %" and "Taker spot %"; editing and deleting — see "Editing and deleting".

Markets

A connection serves all the markets of the exchange that the terminal trades on (see "What is Profit Cloud → Exchanges"). A market temporarily closed for trading is marked by the connection wizard in the key check.
